ABOUT US
Our Principles
Welcome to Star Tutoring Academy. We offer tuition in KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, 11+, SATs, GCSE's and A-Levels. At STA we take a comprehensive and collaborative approach in creating a plan and program that is right for every student. Adjusting to different personalities and specific academic needs, we always find what works best. We ensure that parents are directly involved in their child's learning, allowing them to address any questions or concerns with us to enhance the pupils progress. We work with children that have various educational needs and difficulties. We constantly implement positive reinforcement to help motivate our students.
We hold annual ceremony events where children are rewarded with certificates and prizes. This is a chance for parents to celebrate their childrens achievements and also meet their tutors to discuss any concerns.

THE TEAM
Our Story
STA was launched by two highly qualified individuals. Having worked as tutors for over 6 years, we realised there was a huge gap in tuition services, and that was creating a tailored learning regime for each pupil. Pupils have different needs, targets and styles of working and tutoring cannot be a 'one size fits all' approach. We established an approach that helps children from all backgrounds and needs, ensuring that progress is attained. Our head tutors are educated at Masters degree level and have worked with children for over 5 years, attaining certifcation in Prevent, Children safe gaurding, and Tutoring Level 3, along with their own specialised backgrounds in Pharmacy and Genetics.

ONLINE TUTORING
We tailor our Online Tutoring to fit each of our students’ unique needs and circumstances. With our professional tutors and your dedication to succeed, we guarantee academic results. We understand that commuting isn't always ideal, and perhaps pupils feel they learn better at the comfort of their own environments. Thus, we offer online tutoring sessions with the same level of high quality tutoring as face-to-face sessions offer.
TEST PREP
Our curriculum and educational sessions completely revolve around the abilities and experiences of each student. We identify and target the gaps in learning to ensure complete academic confidence. Following every few topics that are covered, we will assess pupils to ensure that they fully understand all content. We create an environment that replicates what pupils should expect in their actual exams; giving them a chance to become familiar with exam conditions.
FREQUENT MONITORING

At the end of each session, a progress sheet will be completed by the respective tutor. This allows parents to be directly involved in their child's learning, allowing them to address any questions or concerns with us to enhance the pupils progress. Our Fees
We believe that children should have every opportunity to succeed. Our affordable tuition rates ensure that children from all backgrounds have a chance to a great academic support system. We offer hour rates or block session fees starting from £8.50 per hour. Please get in touch to find out more.
